The Pitfalls of Incessant Mastication

With this installation I was curious about the way food was produced and consumed in this country. I was particularly interested in the distance that had formed between the reality of our food and our relationships to it. Fun-shaped and easy-to-eat foods had swept the nation. This way of masking the origin of food created problems for the well being of animals, the environment, and our own health. Folklore played a role in my narrative. Museum dioramas influenced my presentation.
